Last call to Funningur this year

NG Endurance was the last ship to call Funningur this year. The 100 guests received a warm welcome when they came ashore with zodiacs yesterday. The day was a great success for everyone - guests, crew and locals.

The ship’s agent in the Faroe Islands is Tor Shipping and the visit was organized as a sosial sustainable project where the benefit goes to the locals and the local community. The Port of Runavík has, together with the local inhabitants and Visit Runavik, developed this special product for expedition ships.

The maximum number of allowed calls to Funningur is three ships a year and NG Endurance was the third and last ship in 2024. Thank you for the visit NG Endurance and safe journey.
