Cruise Oyndarfjørður
Oyndarfjørður, a small village of around 140 residents on the northeastern coast of Eysturoy, offers a quiet and authentic Faroese experience as one of the Port of Runavík’s exclusive expedition destinations. Visitors can take guided hikes, visit the historic wooden church from 1838, and see the Rinkusteinar - two large stones that gently move with the tide.
The Port of Runavík, in partnership with Visit Runavík and the local community, offers this destination for smaller ships, with a limited number of calls per year.
The landing place in Oyndarfjørður is ISPS-certified.
If cruise lines are interested in calling Oyndarfjørður, please write to cruise@runavik.fo and we will provide packages with proposed ideas and costs.
- The Port of Runavík is proud to be a member of Cruise Europe and CLIA, and part of the Cruise Faroe Islands network.
