The Port of Runavík is an exceptional location for cargo and bunkering with high quality facilities and effective service at the port. 

Cargo

The conditions for loading and unloading cargo are very good at King's Harbour, quays 2, 3 and 4. Quay 2 has a length of 246 m with 6 m draft, and quays 3 and 4 have a total length of 567 m and 12 m draft. Vessels up to 320 m can berth at King's Harbour, which has a width of 80 m. Mobile port cranes are available.

Bunkering

The bunkering possibilities are good at the Port of Runavík. There is one terminal for bunker oil on the South Harbour in Søldarfjørður. Oil tankers come to discharge at the terminal every 14 days, and ships come on a regular basis to bunker. The oil is also transported from the oil terminal in Søldarfjørður to other quaysides on the Port of Runavík.
