A First Call to Remember
Yesterday, Oyndarfjørður received its first-ever cruise call as Seaventure from 66° Expeditions visited the village.
Despite the rain, guests enjoyed the village throughout the day. Most of them were from China, which made communication a special and charming experience, with translation going from Faroese to English and then into Mandarin.
The local community was incredibly well prepared and welcomed the guests with warmth and hospitality, helping make Oyndarfjørður’s first cruise visit a great success.
We thank Seaventure for a fantastic experience and wish the crew and passengers a pleasant onward journey!
The next cruise call to Oyndarfjørður will be on June 11, when Silver Wind visits the village.
