The Biggest Cruise Visit of the Year
Yesterday, Rotterdam from Holland America Line made her maiden call to Runavík, visiting with more than 2,600 guests on board.
As the biggest ship to visit Port of Runavík this year, the day showed how we are able to welcome cruise ships of all sizes - from small calls in our expedition villages to large ships with thousands of cruise guests in King’s Harbour.
No matter the destination, guests are always close to local life, Faroese culture and the surrounding nature.
Together with Visit Runavík and the local community, we shared this through music, activities, tours and warm meetings throughout the day.
The ship’s local agent in the Faroe Islands was Tor Shipping, and the tour operator was MB Tours.
