Is the American Dream in Elduvík?
Yesterday marked Elduvík’s first cruise visit of the year as NG Explorer brought around 150 guests from the United States ashore in Zodiac.
They spent the day exploring the village, hiking in the surrounding nature and learning about life in Elduvík.
The locals once again did a fantastic job welcoming the visitors, sharing stories about the village, showing them the church and the statue of the merman, and serving local food along the way.
The guests also showed great interest in the local handicrafts and souvenirs, with many choosing to bring a small piece of Elduvík home with them.
So, is the American Dream in Elduvík? For one day, it certainly felt like it.
The ship’s local agent is Tor Shipping.
Thank you for visiting, NG Explorer!
