Spitsbergen calls Elduvík tomorrow

September 21, 2024

Spitsbergen calls Elduvík tomorrow on 22 September 2024. The ship will anchor and the passengers will come ashore in zodiacs from 8.30.

Spitsbergen has called Elduvík several times during the past six years and tomorrow there are approximately 138 people onboard the ship. In Elduvík there are 12 inhabitants and they have, together with the Port of Runavík and Visit Runavík, developed this local sustainable product for expedition cruise ships. Elduvík is one of Port of Runavík's expedition cruise destinations where maximum 3 ships are allowed per year to each village. The other villages are Funningur and Oyndarfjørður.

Spitsbergen's agent in the Faroe Islands is Faroe Ship.

A local and warm welcome to Spitsbergen.
