Could it be the fish soup?
Yesterday, Sea Spirit visited Funningur.
Around 100 cruise guests from countries including the USA, China, Australia and Switzerland came ashore in beautiful weather. As always, the locals welcomed them with open arms and shared stories about Faroese traditions and everyday life in the village.
Sea Spirit has visited both Funningur and Elduvík several times before, and guests were asking for the fish soup almost as soon as they came ashore. It has become a tradition for the locals to serve homemade fish soup when cruise guests visit the villages - and judging by the smiles in the last photo, they were definitely not disappointed.
We wish the ship, crew and passengers a pleasant onward journey!
Sea Spirit will return on 27 May 2027.
