Ocean Explorer in Funningur

Yesterday, Funningur received its first cruise call of the year when Ocean Explorer visited the charming village.

The ship anchored in the fjord, and all 88 cruise guests, together with the crew of 20, came ashore in zodiacs. The guests were from the United States, Australia, Canada and Europe.

The weather showed many sides of itself throughout the day - with both snow and sunshine. But that only made the visit even more special, giving guests the chance to experience the Faroese weather firsthand. I

t turned into a very successful day, where the locals in Funningur did a fantastic job welcoming the smiling guests.
