A first for Rituvík
On May 21, Port of Runavík adds another expedition village to its destinations as Rituvík welcomes its very first cruise call.
The first ship to visit the village will be the expedition vessel Seaventure from 66° Expeditions, anchoring just outside the village while guests are brought ashore in zodiacs.
Rituvík is a small coastal village with around 350 residents. During the past year, locals have been preparing for the big day by creating walking routes and gentle hikes, planning local entertainment and making homemade souvenirs to welcome visitors.
Seaventure's agent in the Faroe Islands is Faroe Ship.
A first call is always something special.
Welcome to Rituvík!
