Visit from the American Embassy

Yesterday a representative from the American Embassy in Copenhagen was on a short visit at the Port of Runavík.

The main purpose of the visit was to establish contact between the embassy and the Port of Runavík. There are many American passengers onboard the cruise ships that call the Port of Runavík every year. Therefore it is important for the embassy to know whom to contact in case of any issues regarding American citizens.

In addition the representative received information about the activity and port facilities.
