A successful first visit in Rituvík
Yesterday, Rituvík received its very first cruise call as the expedition vessel Seaventure from 66° Expeditions visited the village.
The day began with thick fog, but as the guests arrived, the weather cleared and the sun came out.
The locals in Rituvík had been looking forward to the visit for a long time and had done their utmost to give around 100 guests - mainly from China - a warm and memorable welcome. During the visit, there were many different experiences on the programme, with live music in the church and Faroese chain dancing among the highlights.
It was the perfect beginning for Rituvík as a cruise destination!
We wish Seaventure, its crew and passengers a pleasant onward journey.
